Around the World and Back Again

*“Dheere chal na hai mushkil toh jadli hi sahi”*
“If it’s too much to go slowly, then quickly it shall be.”

My goal in life, which I absolutely will achieve, is to travel around the world and visit lots of different amazing cities. Live for a few days by myself in this amazing new place and try to understand the city, as much as I can. And I want to do it all on a bike.

I got this idea while biking around San Diego, my very first solo vacation. And I fell in love with the idea, because biking a city is an indescribably amazing experience. I felt so alive, so happy. I want to make it around the world.

This is where I hope to capture some of my favorite travels, in pictures and as many words as I can.

This was the view from my grandparent’s apartment in Delhi my first morning in India. It brings back so many fantastic memories of spending summers in India.

Usha Sewing Machine

This sewing machine is a classic. My grandmother brought it with her when she was married into our family, and my father learned to sew on it. We heard a lot of great stories about it, and it’s a prized family heirloom for my dad.

Holi is the festival of colors, and in preparation, this shop had huge piles of holi powder and colored incense sticks. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play Holi in India with family.
